Pricing
The scan tool is free. The AI is plain-priced.
No price surprises, no locked "premium unlock" tricks. The scan tool is free forever — read and clear codes, live data, freeze frames, emissions checks, the battery test, and the trip computer. Credits only cover the AI reasoning on top, and here's exactly how that works.
First, what a credit actually buys. A credit is one unit of AI work. A full diagnosis — the back-and-forth, the live OBD2 captures, a committed conclusion — runs about 20 credits. A quick question, a code explanation, or a spec lookup is about 1 credit. Nothing on the scan-tool side costs a credit, ever.

PDF reports are on every plan. Any concluded diagnosis exports as a PDF, and adding your shop name and logo in Settings brands it — on the free plan too. It isn't a paid unlock and never has been.
Top-up credits never expire, but they're tied to the app installation on your device — deleting the app or switching phones can forfeit an unused balance (the app tells you this before you buy, too).
All purchases are billed by Apple or Google in USD; local store pricing may vary slightly. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled in your store account settings. Refunds follow the stores' policies.
For context. A diagnostic at an independent US shop typically runs around $131–209, per published industry averages from RepairPal. That's the market rate for finding out what's wrong — not a promise about your specific vehicle or repair, which depends entirely on what's actually wrong with it.
Prices shown are the same in the app and on this page — if anything here ever disagrees with the app, the app's store sheet is the binding one.
Questions people actually ask
What happens when I run out of credits?+
The AI features pause, and the app tells you before you get there rather than after. The scan tool keeps working the whole time — codes, live data, freeze frames, emissions, battery test and trip computer never depend on credits. A one-time credit pack or a plan gets the AI going again whenever you're ready.
Do unused credits roll over?+
Monthly plan credits don't — they reset at the start of each calendar month. Top-up credits are different: those never expire. The one caveat is that top-ups are tied to the app installation on your device, so deleting the app or switching phones can forfeit an unused balance. The app says so before you buy.
How do I cancel?+
In your store settings, not through us — on iPhone: Settings, your name, Subscriptions, Fixiom, Cancel. On Android: Play Store, profile, Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions, Fixiom, Cancel. Cancelling stops future renewals and you keep what you've paid for until the period ends.
Is the free tier a trial that expires?+
No. The scan tool is free permanently, not for a trial window, and the free plan starts you with 25 AI credits — enough for a full AI diagnosis to complete. If scanning is all you need, you never pay anything.
What happens if I go over on Pro?+
Pro keeps working past its monthly allowance up to a courtesy limit, so a job in progress doesn't stop dead. Past that ceiling it pauses and offers a top-up. That ceiling exists deliberately — an unbounded overage is how people get surprise bills.
